MrBeast eventually posted his incredible $456,000 remake of popular Netflix hit Squid Game on November 24, and fans and creators flocked to his channel in massive numbers to boost his views and pay homage to one of today’s most influential YouTubers.

The video quickly surpassed one million views, and at the time of writing (about 12 hours after its release), it has around 28 million views and is still growing rapidly. While MrBeast was already well-liked by his YouTube peers, the Squid Game video has brought him much more attention, with support from some of the internet’s biggest personalities.

Several of the world’s most popular YouTubers and streamers instantly tuned in to the much-anticipated event, eager to see how MrBeast broke records this time. MrBeast established himself as one of the greatest stars on YouTube — if not the biggest — only minutes after the video aired, with tributes pouring in. Here are a few of the responses.

After tweeting MrBeast to say it was a “huge W,” KSI merely said the video was “nuts” in another tweet. Other personalities have also reacted to MrBeast’s video including Australian star Lazarbeam, British YouTuber Jay Swingler, Fortnite streamer SypherPK and Casey Neistat.

Many notable YouTubers are clearly on board with the MrBeast hype train, and the video has quickly become a true viral smash — which is unsurprising given how highly anticipated it was in the run-up to the release date. However, MrBeast stated that the movie cost him $3.5 million, so it’s impossible to argue he didn’t put his all into it.
