YouTube Releases Celebratory Trailer

The Minecraft community recently received a congratulatory video from YouTube, which noted that the game’s videos have surpassed 1 trillion views on the platform. Many of the game’s content creators also appeared in the video as appearances.

Since the open-world survival game’s humble beginnings in 2011, millions of people have played it and uploaded countless videos to the internet. Simultaneously, YouTube grew in popularity and became the most prominent video-sharing website. As a result, Minecraft and YouTube collaborated to achieve such a significant milestone.

To commemorate the occasion, YouTube released a Minecraft cinematic video on December 15th. They’ve also created a specific page for the game on their Trends page, where people can learn more about how the game’s community got to this point.

YouTube posted a video on their official channel celebrating the game’s community for hitting 1 trillion views on the platform. The video starts with Starship’s iconic song, We Built This City, with certain phrases modified to fit the game’s aesthetics.

As the video progresses, a number of well-known Minecraft characters appear, including Grian, Mumbo Jumbo, PewDiePie, DanTDM, CaptainSparklez, and Dream. YouTube also recognized all of the content creators that contributed to the video’s creation in the description.

Following the video’s release, Twitter was inundated with reactions from fans to this historic event.

YouTube Gaming’s Twitter account also sent amusing messages on the big news.

On YouTube’s Trends page, there’s even a section dedicated to the game’s 1 trillion views. People can calculate how much they have contributed to the milestone by going to that page. They can also read articles about how members of the Minecraft community from all over the world have used the game to express themselves and create diverse videos.
