Twitch streamer xQc has spoken out about the subathon he’s been teasing since the beginning of 2021 and explained why it hasn’t happened yet.

On April 27, xQc announced his plans for a Twitch subathon, which was to be a gigantic 60-day stream. He officially postponed the subathon in May and hasn’t mentioned a possible start date since then.

Now, on October 26, xQc disclosed why the subathon was postponed, as well as why one may not be held for a long time.

On November 26, xQc discussed the reasons why the ambitious subathon has yet to take place. During the live stream, he replied to a fan who was interested in the subathon as he stated; “Dude, but I have sleep problems though. I literally can’t do s**t, I actually can’t do anything. I wake up f**king gasping for air every day. Literally every day. Absolute dogs**t. I wanna do a subathon, but if it happens on stream, it’s just weird. People are gonna get worried and s**t, it’ll be weird. It’s just gonna be odd.”

Any attempt at a 60-day subathon by xQc would appear to be hindered by his insomnia. Fans would be concerned about him if they observed him struggle, because most streamers sleep on stream during theirs. It’s still possible that viewers will see the star complete his 60-day subathon, but it might be a while until his sleeping issues are resolved.
