xQc spends $17k on Pokemon card packs

Twitch Pokemon week is about to start soon and because of this, some streamers can be viewed doing live unboxing of Pokemon trading cards. One of the latest twitch streamers to buy into the hype was Felix Lengyel aka xQc. He completed a box opening during one of his recent live broadcasts. During the unboxing, xQc went on pulling out some overwhelming cards.

Later on, he was shocked as he pulled out a Dark Charizard Holo. He could barely control his hands after pulling it out. The card is worth around $6,000. Many users have posted a price list of the top tier cards xQc pulled out. On top of the Dark Charizard Holo, he also collected Dark Holo versions of Dragonite, Blastoise, Raichu and Alakazam. The total value of the cards was a staggering $27,000.

It looks like it is worth it considering xQc paid $17k just to get the box. xQc also posted on his Twitter that he was so happy for his insane card pulls. The upcoming Pokemon week, viewers will see many popular twitch streamers do their own pokemon unboxings. However, it has been slightly shrouded in controversy after Sodapoppin accused the trend of Pokemon card unboxings as promoting child-friendly gambling.
