xQc Has Stopped Hosting Streamers

While many notable streamers like S1mple or Pokimane are hosting a smaller content creator, or an esport highlighting their smaller regions on the big stage, twitch streamer Felix Lengyel aka xQc has stopped hosting streamers.

During one of his recent live broadcasts, he explained why he suddenly stopped hosting other streamers. He was asked by his viewers and his response was that there’s a number of reasons. As some people know, xQc has an unfortunately toxic community. He claimed that he was getting a backlash for his hosting, which makes him feel bad. The death threats are not okay and nobody should have to deal with that.

He stated; “When I became a bigger streamer, I started getting a lot of backlash for hosting, and it made me feel bad. There’s a couple of instances where I’ve gotten death threats for hosting, because people said the community sucked and that I intoxicated their chats. Then they put a new ToS in where, if I host somebody, and viewers do something anti-ToS, that could get me into trouble.”
