xQc gets Confused While Watching Trailer for ‘Don’t Look Up’

While reacting to the trailer for Netflix’s recent movie, Don’t Look Up, Twitch streamer Felix Lengyel aka xQc pointed out what he considered was an inconsistency.

Viewers swiftly ignored Lengyel’s lighthearted but erroneous assessment, pointing out that he missed a line of essential language that was featured in the teaser. Despite this, many people thought the scenario humorous. During his Twitch livestream on November 16, Twitch streamer xQc responded to the trailer for the upcoming Netflix film Don’t Look Up.

xQc was watching a scene in which the main characters were conversing with US President Barack Obama, who was played by American actress Meryl Streep. He paused the trailer for a few seconds and informed his viewers saying; “Chat, chat, chat, didn’t it say ‘based on real (stories)?’ but isn’t that a woman President?”

He resumed viewing the trailer after disconnecting it, until he noticed his fans’ responses, which made him laugh. It displays the words “Based on real events” at the beginning of the video, which is not seen in the tape, then later, “That hasn’t happened.” However, just the first half of the words had registered in Lengyel’s mind.

He paused the video again after a while to clarify that he was joking stating; “Guys, guys, I’ve been going too far with these jokes, okay. Guys, this was half a joke, but – it was half a joke. I didn’t think about it. I didn’t – I didn’t compute the beginning when it said ‘Things that haven’t happened yet.’ I didn’t compute it, okay. It was a half joke, forget it. Forget it.”

xQc is known for making harsh jokes, despite his good intentions. He’s made a number of jabs at fellow streamer Imane “Pokimane” Anys, who he considers to be a close friend. Rachel “Valkyrae” Hofstetter has described him as “intimidating” because of the turbulent and passionate demeanor he portrays while streaming.
