xQc Asks Fans To Stop Sending Donations

Félix Lengyel most commonly known online as xQcOW is a popular twitch streamer, Canadian YouTuber, and competitive gamer on Overwatch. He has now gained over 7.5 million followers on his twitch channel where he usually streams a variety of games such as valorant, League of legends, and most recently, Rust.

During one of his recent live broadcasts, he had a hilarious yet sincere rant regarding those donors who sent many sad messages to him. Twitch chat and twitch donation are the common way to communicate with the streamers watching. It is more effective to communicate through donations than spamming in twitch chat, as some streamers have their text-to-speech for donations turned on. Twitch streamer xQc sometimes gets bombarded with donation messages every stream. Some of them are funny but some of them are also sad and depressing.

It seems that xQc had a lot to say about “sad” donations during a recent stream as he stated; “Let me talk about this once and for all, I realize this kind of like a picky topic… but I’ll just tell you straight up, okay? The emotional donation messages are fine when they’re true. The problem is when there’s too many of them that are stacked, it feels like… all the energy goes down.” xQc has never been one to hold his tongue, and he didn’t hold back here. The clip of him ranting was posted on Reddit with others sympathizing with him.
