xQc Accuses Minecraft Stars Over ‘Abuse’ Stan Culture

The minecraft community has been facing some controversy in the past few months with some minecraft streamers being criticized or attacked by their own fandom. Now, some streamers such as MoistCr1TiKaL and xQc have shared their insights or opinion regarding this issue as it seems like they have the opposite opinion on the matter.

Recently, streamer Charlie White aka MoistCr1TiKaL has defended the minecraft star Tommyinnit as he called out the minecraft stans for being toxic and unhealthy for the minecraft streamers after Tommyinnit announced that he had to seek therapy due to fans attacking him recently.

Now, it seems like twitch streamer Felic Lengyel aka xQc disagrees with MoistCr1TiKaL’s view as xQc claims that the Minecraft stars are abusing the stan culture. According to xQc, there are a lot of things that the minecraft streamers can do to discourage the stans’ bad behavior such as telling them to stop stanning at all. xQc stated that the real problem here is that they ultimately don’t want these stans to stop stanning them because they feel empowered from having a passionate and dedicated fanbase behind them.

Here’s what xQc said; “It’s not about their fandom or their admiration. It’s about the feeling of power when they do something. It’s about seeing the impact of what they do that actually causes something. Because whatever they do in real life… amounts to nothing, and they have no power. For that reason, whenever they tweet or they re-tweet [something and cause a stir], they can feel that they’re moving pieces somewhere, somehow, and it makes them feel empowered. I think that’s the real problem.”
