Xbox’s 20th Anniversary Celebration!

Xbox recently announced that it will host a livestream to commemorate the console’s 20th anniversary, which will take place next week.

On November 15th, the Xbox Anniversary Celebration will take place to commemorate the company’s 20th anniversary. On the official Xbox YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook steam channels, the stream will begin at 6pm GMT (10am PST/1pm EST).

The steam will have subtitles in a variety of languages, including German, French, BR Portuguese, and others. On the official Xbox YouTube channel, the stream will also include American Sign Language or Audio Descriptions.

Xbox warns streamers who plan to participate in the celebration that there will be copyrighted music that automated bots will detect.

Viewers will be able to win prizes throughout the event and they must register for Xbox FanFest to be eligible. There will also be a trivia event via the FanFest service at 10pm GMT (2pm PST/5pm EST). Also, to commemorate the occasion, new items will be added to the Xbox Gear Shop on November 15th; however, the details of these items have yet to be revealed.

Xbox users can now stream their gameplay directly to Twitch thanks to a new update released last month. Users can get to the feature by going to the “Capture and Share” menu and then selecting “Live Streaming.” Players will be able to stream directly to Twitch after linking their accounts.

“Xbox and Twitch are teaming up to make live streaming from your Xbox easier than ever,” Xbox’s Major Nelson tweeted at the time. Insiders, you can now access Twitch directly from the Guide and manage your setup in just a few clicks.”

Sega has trademarked the terms “Sonic Frontiers” in both English and Japanese in other places. This has sparked speculation that the series’ next game will bear that name.
