Why Doesn’t She Sleep With Plants?

Portugese Twitch streamer Karii is a 21 year old female streamer that loves streaming different types of content everyday. She has over 10,000 followers on the Twitch platform. Recently, while she was live streaming the content Just Chatting, she spoke about why she refuses to sleep in the same room with plants. The Just Chatting section is well known for its jam-packed hilarious and wonderful content. Karii shared while she was streaming to her viewers that sleeping in the same room with plants is not healthy.

She told her viewers that she just bought a fake plant because she didn’t want to kill a plant. She also explained that it is not healthy to sleep with plants because plants remove oxygen. She said; ”I don’t recommend having plants inside your house. I just bought a fake one because I don’t want to kill plants. And also it’s not healthy. I heard it’s not healthy to have plants in the same room that you sleep in, because plants remove your oxygen. I’m not joking, it’s actually not that healthy to have plants in your room. I’m not joking”.

While Karii was explaining the whole thing, she was smiling and laughing the whole time which made some of her viewers think that she was just joking. The stream clip has over 18,000 viewers as of now. According to Google, plants release oxygen during the day in the presence of natural light through the process of photosynthesis. At night, the plants uptake oxygen and release carbon dioxide, which is called respiration.
