Broxh Reveals Why He Turned Donations Off for Christmas

Streamer Broxh is a popular twitch streamer in New Zealand. He is a wood carver and has become the platform’s latest phenomenon. He’s been called the Bob Ross of carving and the most wholesome streamer on twitch. He calls his followers “whanau” because that’s how he treats them.

The word Whanau is the Maori word for extended family, and the most-used word on Twitter by Broxh. He has grown in popularity because of his wholesomeness and selflessness which he has now over 1.3 million followers on the platform. Broxh mostly streams his work of his large wood carvings while talking on his chat. He is a big fan of the game World of Warcraft and he recently started streaming the newly released expansion Shadowlands alongside his usual carving streams. Recently, he again shook up the twitch community as he decided to remove his donate button on his stream.

During his Tuesday stream, he answered as to why he decided to take off his donation button for the holidays saying simply; “Just made sense, eh? Just so people will hold on to their money.”

Some viewers were surprised, having discovered the streamer recently, and were curious about his history. He patiently answered and greeted every viewer that chatted, while taking breaks from the carving.
