Who Will Host Jeopardy?

Just after the death of host Alex Trebek of the Jeopardy show, the program, which is based on a general knowledge quiz format, many were making assumptions on who would be capable of hosting the program. Some of the names that came up were surprising, to say the least.

An unexpected name emerged at the bottom of the list – Joe Rogan – in the sportsbook list of prospective candidates for the role of presenter posted by Steven Zeitchik. Rogan has made a massive name for himself largely through his widely popular podcast ‘Joe Rogan Encounter’ on which he interviews a host of high-profile personalities from various sectors, reaching a whopping 10 million viewers. Rogan was also nominated as a possible contender by the New York Times, which revealed a variety of viewers who had the desires of the Podcaster to pick up the role.

While the chances remain very small, his inclusion on the list has got people talking, with some people dreaming about their popular podcast host seeking a new venture, and others completely against the possibility.
