Valkyrae’s Voice Message To Pokimane

After Pokimane recounted a troubling experience of being harassed by a stranger while alone at night, popular streamer Valkyrae had some strong words of advice for her.

Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys has over 8 million Twitch followers, making her the most popular woman on the platform. 

While she frequently updates fans on her day on social media, the streamer shocked viewers when she said she was accosted by a man while walking alone in Los Angeles at night. Pokimane claimed she was walking through a parking lot when a man shouted at her from across the street, including the remark, “I wanna see what’s under that skirt.” 

The next day, Anys talked about the distressing incident on her Twitch stream, claiming she was “baffled” by the “omega cringe” scenario. She stated; “It feels really bad and really weird to have that happen in person…this kind of stuff is not funny. It’s not okay. I don’t know these people.”

Pokimane then lightened the situation by sharing a funny audio message from fellow streamer Valkyrae, who’d written a note in response to Poki’s Instagram stories uploads. Valkyrae shouted; “I just saw your Insta story, and I just wanna say, if you ever walk alone at night ever again, I am going to f**king murder you! You are not allowed to be outside by yourself in the dark in LA ever again! Ever, Imane! I’m so glad you’re safe, but what the f**k?” 

After playing the message for her audience, Poki couldn’t stop laughing and said; “I was like bro, I was alone for like, I s**t you not, two minutes!”

Anys made it home safely, but she posted the story to “spread some awareness that this happens a lot, please be kind and stay safe, and look out for your friends.”
