Valkyrae Teases More YouTube Signing

Following Ludwig’s departure from Twitch, Rachell ‘Valkyrae’ Hofstetter suggested that more YouTube Gaming signings are on the way.

Ludwig stated that he has inked an exclusive deal with YouTube, which is a huge step for the platform’s increasing list of high-profile broadcasters. Everyone was taken aback by the news, but none more so than Valkyrae, a fellow streamer. Ludwig, on the other hand, appears to be only the tip of the iceberg, as Rae has hinted that she knows more than meets the eye.

During her November 29 stream, the announcement of Ludwig’s YouTube Gaming signing gave us a live reaction to the news. Caught off guard, Valkyrae exclaimed; “Ludwig tweet? What is this?” she added, as the video displayed a number of skits before the big reveal. Valkyrae’s confusion, however, was an act, as she later admitted in a sly tone, “I already knew. “I just didn’t know it was this soon!”

Valkyrae hinted that more surprises are on the way in response to a chat member’s remark that the move was “exciting.”

Rae previously stated that YouTube is soon becoming the “only real option” for creators because YouTube is eager to promote and “work with” streamers in a collaborative manner.

Ludwig’s move to YouTube Gaming is a huge step forward for the streamer, as he joins the likes of DrDisrespect and TimTheTatMan on the platform. The battle between YouTube Gaming and Amazon-owned Twitch has intensified, as streamers continue to criticize the platform’s treatment of creators. The anticipation of who will join YouTube Gaming’s roster next builds as the roster grows stronger.
