Valkyrae Stunned By Pokimane’s Unban Requests

YouTube streamer Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter was shocked by Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys’ unban request forms on Twitch when she guested in her stream.

Despite shifting to another streaming site, Valkyrae, like Pokimane, is one of the biggest women streamers in the industry. Following the recent event involving a hate raid by content creator JiDion, she was worried and startled to see how much hatred her friend was enduring. Hofstetter didn’t get as much hate from her followers as she did from her fans. The pain her friend Pokimane was going through, she couldn’t comprehend.

Last January 26th, the co-owner of 100 Thieves made a cameo appearance on her friend Pokimane’s live stream. They decided to take a look at Pokimane’s stream’s unban requests. As you could have guessed, they all had a lot of resentment for the girl streamer. They were all disrespectful or obscene to the female streamer as a result of the hate raid. Valkyrae only viewed 4000 requests out of a total of 15,000 before they were already removed.

There were a lot of harsh comments towards the streamer, but Pokimane showed her how many pages filled up her unban requests. They managed Pokimane’s conversation practically every day thanks to her moderators, but imagine how many people they need to ban on a regular basis.

Despite the fact that the problem has been resolved, its impact is still felt. At this point, the platform needs to do something to stop the community from making such cruel comments. By the 31st of January, Valkyrae will be available for streaming.
