Valkyrae Overtakes Pokimane In 2020

Popular youtube streamer Rachel Hofstetter, most commonly known as Valkyrae is now the most watched female streamer for the year 2020, surpassing the popular twitch streamer pokimane. Valkyrae is a American YouTuber and live streamer who streams a variety of games such as Fall guys, fortnite, Among Us and Rust.

Her fans are always supporting her while she streams and plays these games gaining her a wider streaming audience. She has now gained over 2.88 million subscribers on her youtube channel and it’s no surprise that the year 2020 has been a big success to Valkyrae. Stream Hatchet released a new report of the most viewed female streamers across platforms. Valkyrae came in at the top of the list with over 23.6m hours watched while pokimane had 23.3m hours watched.

Third on th list was the Korean twitch streamer saddummy with 20.1m followed by Japanese VTuber Usada Pekora and Jinnytty. According to stream hatchet, Valkyrae grew over 7,304% year on year, an almost unfathomable amount of growth in the space of 12 months. Overall, Valkyrae places 63rd across all streamers for hours watched, with the likes of xQc, Gaules and summit1g taking the top overall spots.
