Tyler1’s Demands

Twitch streamer Tyler Steinkamp aka Tyler1, a well-known League of Legends streamer, has smashed it out of the park once again, this time attaining the Challenger in mid-lane after a successful top-lane only unranked to Challenger.

Tyler1 went out on a plan to go from unranked to Challenger by playing jungle only after declaring that it was the “best role in the game played by the worst players.” T1 finished the challenge after 1800 games, which wasn’t easy for the ADC main.

It inspired the streamer to come up with a new way to play his favorite game, League of Legends, in a way he had never imagined. T1 attempted it again with top-lane, sticking to a role he’d never played before and striving to go from unranked to the highest rating in the game.

Tyler1 set out to complete the challenge while only playing in the mid-lane this time, and no one had high expectations. After trying to rise out of the depths of Silver elo, Steinkamp took a few months to finish his mid-lane unranked Challenger quest, which he began in July. T1 finished his challenge with 669 games, a 57 percent win rate, and a 57 percent victory rate.

Of course, Tyler1 finished with his trademark over-the-top celebration, complete with shouting and yelling, for which fans have come to love him over the years. He exclaimed; “What, you want me to get excited and sh*t? Do you want me to yell a bit? Do you want some screaming? Mid-diff, it’s the mammoth man b*tch, and it was easy as f**k by the way.”

Tyler1 demanded that Riot alter the League of Legends picture on Twitch to his face for a day to commemorate his victory, or he will abandon the game. Tyler1 said on stream that he isn’t planning on starting his support run until next season in 2022, as he has reached challenger on four out of five roles thus far.
