Twitter Takes Action

Rachel Hofstetter most commonly known online as Valkyrae has risen in popularity in 2020. She became the most watched female streamer in the world overtaking the twitch’s number one female streamer Imane Anys aka Pokimane. Valkyrae was a former twitch streamer before she made her move into youtube, gaining her over 2.89 million subscribers.

She has risen in popularity with the help of the popular game Among Us together with other notable streamers such as pokimane, sykkuno and more. Like many other successful and popular female personalities, Valkyrae became a target of a stalker recently. Because of this, she made her twitter account private and explained to her fans why. She tweeted out; “Unfortunately I have to keep my account private until this delusional stalker dies. He’s made hundreds of accounts for months. Would love it if Twitter had blocking options where the user isn’t able to interact with an account that has been blocked by another account from the same device or somethin.”

Luckily, it looks like the issue has been handled by twitter as Valkyrae posted another tweet thanking twitter and wished her followers good morning from her now non-private account, hinting that her stalker has been effectively dealt with.
