TimTheTatman No Longer Plays Apex Legends

Timothy ‘TimTheTatman’ Betar has stated that he has ‘no interest’ in grinding Apex Legends and would instead stay with Warzone for the time being, citing the battle royale’s “slow” gameplay as a major reason for his return to Call of Duty.

On Twitch and YouTube, the battle royale conflict has been going unabated for some time, with a slew of celebrity streamers favoring one title over another.

Apex Legends appeared to be the clear favorite during the last month or so. In the three-way competition, Epic’s Fortnite has slipped to a clear third position. Its decline has largely been due to minor events and upgrades. In August, however, Warzone had gone up in flames due to a swarm of cheats and bugs.

With Fortnite and Warzone losing popularity, players such as Dr Disrespect, NICKMERCS, CouRage, and Tfue began dropping into Kings Canyon, Olympus, and World’s Edge on a daily basis, leaving Verdansk behind.

Betar, on the other hand, has underperformed and returned to Warzone.

He informed Dr Disrespect that he was weary of the Respawn battle royale and its delayed gameplay during one of their recent YouTube duo sessions.

TimTheTatman said he “really loves playing Warzone” more than Apex Legends and its Call of Duty arch-rival while the two were discussing battle royales — specifically Apex Legends and its Call of Duty arch-rival.

Dr. Disrespect couldn’t believe his hearing, especially since he’d been a vocal opponent of Raven Software’s main battle royale in recent weeks, and advised Timmy to stay on the Apex Legends hype train for the time being.

TimTheTatman’s reaction was straightforward: “No.”

The new YouTuber then went on to explain his surprising decision. According to him, he has concerns that extend deep into the game’s foundation. There are issues with its ranking systems, gunplay, and how “rat” gaming dominates the competitive scene, to name a few.

On September 14, he stated, “I’m simply not playing Apex.” “I’m just not going to do it.”

“I don’t want to earn two KP, rotate, go to the small beacon, find the final circle, and wait till the last two teams fight,” says the player. Then, all of a sudden, you’re forced to battle.

“I’m not sure what the Doc is talking about. He is obsessed with violence, speed, and momentum. The goal of Apex is to score a kill and then focus on rotation. There is no violence, yet there is a lot of speed. There isn’t any forward motion!”

Timmy’s brief fascination with Apex Legends and its competitive environment will come as no surprise to supporters of the Twitch star turned YouTuber.

Apex was dubbed “boring” by the streamer back in May.

He even went so far as to declare that in any given stream, he’d rather play Warzone or Fortnite, citing gunplay, time-to-kill, and the way Respawn’s battle royale treats protective armor as reasons for being turned down.

“I’m just going to come out and say it: I don’t really love Apex Legends,” he acknowledged in a May 28 battle royale ranking video.

Furthermore, Betar dislikes Apex’s armor system: “I don’t like it. I can rip your gold armor, then you replace it and you’re back to full strength. That does not appeal to me.”
