The Reason Behind Roshtein’s Recent Suspension

Casino Streamer Roshtein was recently banned from streaming platform Twitch and many of his fans are wondering what is the reason behind it.

Twitch is known for their strict implementation of rules and they are not afraid to ban its users if they do breach the platform’s Terms of Service. They even ban their biggest streamers in the past such as Ice Poseidon, Dr Disrespect, and Phantoml0rd.

Last month, another streamer and YouTuber Adin Ross was banned for the fourth time because of texting while driving and now, the latest streamer who received a suspension is Roshtein. Many of his fans are asking why and how he was banned.

Ishmael Swartz AKA Roshtein is a Swedish Twitch streamer who makes gambling content. He streams live video of himself gambling and often wins a large amount of money. He’s been actively streaming since 2016 and he is now one of the most well-known casino streamers on the platform.

Roshtein is also popular on social media with 94,000 followers on Instagram and 51,000on Twitter.

On Tuesday, August 17th, he was banned from Twitch and he himself announced it on his twitter account but recently, he also announced that Twitch unbanned him but still, he’s not disclosing the reason behind it.

The exact reason why Rostein was banned was not shared by Twitch and Roshtein himself but majority of his fans assumed that it was due to affiliate links because Twitch recently announced that they are going to ban referral codes and affiliate links to battle the gambling issue on the platform.

Roshtein’s fans think that he was banned because of that because he didn’t remove his affiliate links and some also said that he still had a casino logo overlay on his stream which disobeyed the new rules of the platform.

According to Roshtein, the reason behind his recent ban is Twitch’s fault and mistake but didn’t give any further details about.
