Streamer Perrikaryal Finally Beat Elden Ring

Perrikaryal, a Twitch streamer and her partner who goes by Perri, ultimately completed her Elden Ring run with the aid of an EEG (Electroencephalogram) that allowed her to “mind-control” her character.

FromSoftware games are well recognized for being challenging, and soul-like games are made even more challenging by speed runs and challenge runs. While playing Elden Ring, streamers have still come up with a variety of obstacles, and Perrikaryal recently became the Elden Lord after beating the game’s last boss. The streamer ultimately defeated Elden Beast, the game’s last boss.

As expected, Perrikaryal used an EEG to aid in her replaying and was unable to talk once the boss perished because she was in such shock that she could not believe she had finished Elden Ring. The British-Canadian streamer has a Masters in Psychology and has been playing the game for some time using a device meant to measure cerebral function in medical studies. Perri has been utilizing an encephalogram to play the Game of the Year since January. Through the use of sensors attached to the subject’s scalp, the gadget is utilized by medical professionals and researchers to monitor and identify electrical activity in the brain.

The streamer came up with an inventive way to tweak one of these gadgets so that it can identify specific brain waves, which then correspond to the keybind for “Attack” on her controller. When you type “!mindcontrol” in the chat, her channel’s bot will respond as follows: “I’m using an EEG (brain imaging device) to monitor my brain activity live on screen. It works by picking up electrical activity from my brain on the sensor pads on my head, made conductive with saline solution. I then trained it to recognise certain states and binded it to my attack key!”

Readers should be aware that the EEG only has an attack keybind and that, in her endeavor to finish the game, the streamer navigated the Lands Between using traditional techniques.
