Streamer Loses All Of His Followers Overnight

Due to the pandemic, gaming and streaming platforms like Twitch have been rising up into popularity. Sometimes, some strange things happen to people’s accounts without warning like getting banned, or losing followers for seemingly no reason. Because of this, it leads communities to rally behind content creators to support them.

Recently, a small twitch streamer, Nathan, lost his almost 21k followers on the platform. Nathan primarily streams Minecraft content to his audience and he claimed that his 21k followers took him years to build up. Nathan was clearly devastated that it had been unraveled for seemingly no reason. On January 13th, he had posted a series of tweets on twitter indicating that something had happened.

He wrote; “I’ve lost everything, My Twitch lost all of its followers. Every single person who has followed me the last 26 months are gone. I’m just at a loss for words.”

The community showed their support as thousands of people heard Nathan’s story and flocked to his account to restore some of his followers. Because of this, also the popular minecraft creator Tubbo gifted him 100 subs to show his support. Luckily, thanks to the support of the online community, Nathan has regained 13,000 followers at the time of this writing, getting 10,000 of those within just two hours, according to his twitter post.
