Small Twitch Streamer Claims She Was “Ignored”

Popular twitch streamer Felix Lengyel aka xQc won the award for Biggest Hype Train as his viewers reached over 2000% progression. The Hype Train is when streamers can set a threshold for a number of Bits and subs donated in a certain amount of time. When a threshold is reached, it starts a hype train.

With xQc being the winner of the award, a German twitch streamer with the user name Juliaaab claimed that her hype train had been “ignored” as she went on to claim that she had a hype train of over 21,000% in November 2020. Juliaaab is a small twitch variety streamer who has over 42k followers on the platform. She stated regarding the Hype Train award; “Classic Twitch. I am disappointed but at the same time not surprised. Do not get me wrong. This is not about squeezing myself into first place with my elbows! I am sure that many other streamers have at least as strong a community and in the end the well-known names appear again without any breakdown.”

Juliaaab also tweeted out a screenshot of the proof which shows that she had reached the hype train of over 21,436%. Regardless, this is not the first time that twitch has been accused of favoring some big streamers over small streamers. Recently, twitch streamer AverageHarry was banned from the platform due to signing up while he was under 13 while other streamers like the popular streamer TommyInnit and BenjyFreshy who also signed up when they were 10 and 11 years old respectively did not get any ban.
