Streamer Banned After Son Appears On Cam

Twitch decided to unban the Valorant Twitch Streamer Emanuel Gila known as NuelDeRecife after he was banned because his four-year-old son appeared on his twitch stream.

NuelDeRecife explained and revealed the reason behind his ban saying that it was not intentional and it was only because he was away for 5 minutes because his four-year-old son made a mess in the room and he had to take care of the mess his son made. He cleaned it up and while doing so, he didn’t know that his son would show up on his stream and because of that, twitch issued immediately an indefinite suspension.

He requested that twitch look into his situation and unban him because streaming is his only source of income and without it, it would be hard for him to find work because of the pandemic and streaming is helping him pay his bills.

He posted and shared his explanation on twitter reaching all through the Brazallian twitch community. Most of the replies to his tweet were mostly supportive.

The same thing happened to another streamer Tayhuhu, who was unbanned from Twitch because of the relentless petitions, public outcry and media reports.

She reached out to the Brazillian streamer and shared her tips and experience from before. She also said that she was banned for almost 3 months and had experienced the same thing. Tayhuhu also recommended that he must send a ticket in English because Brazillian twitch networks cannot manage bans.

There was a slight chance before that Twitch reconsidered his request for unbanning but as of now, Twitch has decided to reconsider his request and gave him a chance like Tayhuhu.
