PPSH-41 Better Than MAC-10
TrueGameData, a Warzone YouTuber and stats expert, has revealed that the PPSH-41 SMG is statistically superior to the much more popular MAC-10, suggesting that it could become a meta weapon to watch.
The PPSH-41, despite being a classic Call of Duty weapon, didn’t make much of an impression in Warzone when it debuted in Season 3. With Season 6 approaching, the PPSH is still not considered meta, but new data may change that.
TrueGameData has put together a comprehensive website that compares nearly all of Warzone’s weapons. Using the information on this website, he discovered that the PPSH-41 has slightly better stats than the MAC-10, making it the better weapon overall.
In terms of movement, fire rate, and recoil, he says the weapons are nearly identical (although the MAC-10 slightly edges it out in the latter two categories). The PPSH, on the other hand, has a few stats that make it the better overall choice.
The PPSH outperforms the MAC-10 in terms of time-to-kill (TTK). At close range, they’re nearly identical, but the PPSH has a longer range, giving it the upper hand.
The PPSH truly shines against the MAC-10 when it comes to another interesting stat, Damage Per Mag. It has a 71 Rnd Drum Mag, making it ideal for taking on squads and allowing it to “put out dramatically more Damage Per Mag.”
He explains that while the PPSH-41 can take out and finish two enemies in a single mag, the MAC-10 will most likely require you to use Throwing Knives to finish your kills.
The recoil is one factor that might make players prefer the MAC-10. Overall, he came to the conclusion that, while the MAC has some advantages, such as Sprint to Fire Time, the PPSH is superior and way underused right now.
