Pokimane’s Serious Mistake On LiveStream

Popular Twitch Streamer Imane Anys AKA Pokimane accidentally opened a pornographic link back in May 2020 during her livestream.

During her “Just Chatting” live stream last year May 19th, she was reacting to other content creators’s content and she clicked on a particular link which has been cleared and checked by her moderator However, the said link in question turned out to be a video of pornograpy.

A document from Google that Pokiamane and her moderator used had been accessed by someone and that person pranked Imane by replacing a link of a popular pornographic website. She accidentally broadcasts the sensitive content on her channel and that said incident led to many people asking Twitch to ban her.

Some say and argue that other content creators are banned from their platform for posting sexually suggestive content. However, Pokimane’s fans defended her and said that she shouldn’t receive such a ban knowing that he had mistakenly opened the link under the impression that it was all clear and clean.

Pokimane explained what had happened in her recent stream and said that she has a document where people link stuff for her to watch on her stream and said that it is being moderated by a moderator and guessed that someone came in and changed/altered one of the links.

Pokimane has no idea who was responsible for the alteration but regardless, many still want her to receive a suspension but instead of banning her, Twitch decided to just give her a warning for “accidentally showing nudity”.

Many are not happy by Twitch unfair non-uniform in their application of its Terms of Service. Even Twitch streamers such as Chenzo and CallMeCarson reacted and couldn’t believe the unfairness of Twitch when it comes to banning streamers.

Pokimane already apologized for accidentally showing her viewers the suggestive link and promised that she will be more extra careful in the future.
