Pokimane Gives Reason Why She Would Choose OTK Over 100 Thieves

Twitch streamer Imane Anys aka Pokimane has been a part of the OfflineTV stream team since its beginning in 2017. However, if she had to go, she’d choose OTK — the home of Asmongold and Mizkif — over 100 Thieves in a heartbeat for one major reason and that is “fun.”

Pokimane’s streaming career is taking another major step forward as she announced on October 27 that she is co-founding RTS, a talent management and brand consultancy firm. The company intends to “fix the gaming and esports industry,” rescuing creators from “bad brand deals” and assisting both parties in maximizing partnership and sponsorship opportunities.

She isn’t quitting OfflineTV anytime soon to start up a business. However, Mizkif couldn’t help but raise the issue on her announcement stream asking as to ‘Where would she go if she were to leave the content house’.

Mizkif asked; “If you had to leave OfflineTV and join either 100 Thieves or OTK, who would you join”.

In response to this,Pokimane smiled and simply said, “OTK”.

Mizkif, a co-owner of OTK, was taken aback by the swift response. He said, “Really?” Pokimane doubled down and added, “Yes.”

After this, Mizkif couldn’t resist using Poki’s endorsement to promote his own organization saying; “We have the backing of RTS legend herself Pokimane” Pokimane laughed at the remark, but there was a legitimate explanation behind the Twitch star’s decision: sponsorship agreements.

She further explained; “You guys are just doing sh*t for fun. 100 Thieves, I’d have to do a sponsor [stream] every other day.”

Mizkif used the opportunity to ‘pitch’ OTK once more, saying, “Little does she know our fun streams are sponsored but that’s okay. That’s how well we integrate them”.

Pokimane knows a thing or two about sponsored content — it’s a key part of her new firm, after all — so it’d still be a good fit.
