Pokimane Defended by Yvonne

A friend of Pokimane named Yvonne who is also a Twitch Streamer was caught in the middle of the issue between Fedmyster and Pokimane. She defended Pokimane in her recent stream and explained how Pokimane helped her focus on streaming.

Yvonne and Pokimane have been friends for several years. Their friendship started before Yvonne joined OfflineTV and became the house manager way back in 2018.

Both of them were included in the drama when Fedmyster leaked a document of private conversations between Fed and Imane. The conversation showed that Pokimane was insisting on removing Yvonne from the OfflineTV house and that Pokimane used Fed as a scapegoat.

Pokimane denied the accusations and said that Fed is lying and had posted a one-sided conversation between them. She also posted a version of her documents with an explanation and a picture where it supports her explanations. She said that Fedmyster documents are out of context.

Many are wondering if these leaked conversations between them will become the reason for Yvonne and Pokimane ending their friendship. Fortunately, it doesn’t seem to be like that. Yvonne spoke about Pokimane in her stream and it didn’t seem like she’s mad or had anything bad to say to the streamer. She even defended Pokimane and said nice words about her.

“So, about Pokimane caring about whether I’d do content or not, she… made an exception for me and believed in the type of person that I was and tried to make things work,” said Yvonne.

“I don’t want people to think that she’s so, like…” she added, holding back some tears. “She’s not the way people portray her to be, and she gets sh*t on a lot just because it’s her, and it feels really unfair.”

Yvonne also explained how Pokimane even made an effort to help her focus on streaming. “She tried to work around me because she knew that I did enjoy streaming [and] I did enjoy doing content stuff,” said Yvonne. 

“She worked around what I wanted,” she added. “And she actually was the person who also gave me the green light to do YouTube and stuff. I didn’t have a channel before.”

Yvonne shows how much she values their friendship despite the drama they are facing. She’s emotional while she’s talking and teary eyed because she can’t describe how Pokimane is really a nice person and how many people portray her as a bad person.

The drama between Pokimane and Fed is now dead and buried but it is still nice to see how Pokimane and Yvonne’s friendship is strong and that they still have each other, defending each other whenevereither of them are in trouble.
