Pokimane and her ‘Creepy’ Viewers

Twitch Streamer Imane Anys, aka Pokimane is one of the biggest streamers on the gaming platform Twitch. Aside from getting more and more popular as time goes by, she has also faced some controversies and problems connected to this. Recently, a fellow twitch streamer was dealing with some inappropriate viewers and Pokimane defended her. Knowing Pokimane, she was going to say what she really wanted to say without thinking about it. She was very open about her feelings.

Pokimane’s fellow twitch streamer QuarterJade recently dealt with people who made clips from some of her streams wherein she bent over in front of the camera. It looks like the user was making clips like this and uploaded those clips because it quickly went viral. Twitch streamer Quarterjade tweeted out her feelings and stated: “If you are the type of loser that clips when I walk away from my cam, bend over, etc… F**K YOUUUUUU”. “I’m so sick of you stupid perverts and I hope your p***s gets stuck in a lawn mower”.

Because of her tweet many replied to her and said random things such as that she just has to just deal with it. To one reply she answered; “Why do we, as female streamers, need to work around the creeps in our chat? Especially in regular and far from sexual scenarios, like standing up from our chairs lol”.

In other words, it made sense that Pokimane would find QuarterJade’s post to be a topic worth her time. A large number of the comments on QuarterJade’s original post are essentially “boys will be boys” kinds of defenses, which didn’t seem to sit well with Pokimane at all.
