Pokimane And YouTube Rumors
On January 31st, the popular streamer Imane Anys aka Pokimane revealed on Twitter that her contract with the streaming platform had ended.
Pokimane also teased followers by announcing that she’ll be starting a new chapter in a week, leading to speculation that she’ll be shifting her broadcasting to YouTube.
Pokimane was recently banned from Twitch for viewing an animated show during one of her live streams. The ban, however, was quickly restored, and the streamer proceeded to connect with viewers in the same way as before.
In contrast to her earlier statements, Pokimane’s current remark surprised her followers because she had never previously mentioned leaving Twitch. She wrote on twitter; “After a wild 2 years, my Twitch contract ends today. I’ll see you guys February 8th for the next chapter..much love to you all.”
Pokimane didn’t say if her Twitch career was over or if her contract would be renewed. Pokimane’s fans have speculated about her departure from Twitch as a result of a number of issues. YouTube Gaming followed up on Pokimane’s tweet with their own, adding to the rumors. “Leave your guesses” is written underneath five empty blocks in the post.
The five-letter name was guessed to be “Imane” by fans, who were quick to guess it was Pokimane that YouTube Gaming was alluding to.
After Ludwig’s departure from YouTube in December 2021, some believe that Pokimane will be the next to join the platform. Despite the fact that Pokimane has kept her distance from the rumors surrounding her shift to YouTube, her followers are concerned.
