A rare Pokemon Card called Blastoise became the 2nd most-expensive card ever after it was sold for $300k.

Pokemon Trading Cards are popular nowadays after many Twitch Stars like Logan Paul, Shroud and others have expressed interest in these and even pour thousands of dollars just to collect the rarest Pokemon Cards.

There are also non-streamers and other celebrities who are hooked with collecting cards. Even rapper Logic was able to pick up a 1st edition Chazizard at an auction last October 2020 and it costs $226k even though the card came out way back in 1999.

Another record of the most expensive card was broken when the same type of card was sold on eBay for $360,000. The card is a bit different compared to other cards because the back of this prototype card had just a blank space meaning that there are just two cards that existing and that’s why it was sold at the higher price.

The auctioneer of the card explained that it was originally commissioned by RPG company Wizards of the Coast back in 1998.

The lucky buyer of the card is still unknown.
