PewDiePie Donated $1,500,000 to Various Charities

One of the most popular Youtube personalities Felix Kjellberg aka PewDiePie has revealed that he managed to raise and donate a total of $1,520,003 for several charities.

Pewdiepie has been labelled as the “King of YouTube” and there’s a few reasons behind it. Aside from having a massive following of more than 110 million subscribers on Youtube making him the fourth most followed YouTube channel on the entire site, he is also known for making plenty of charitable donations in the past using the revenue he makes from his channel.

Now, PewDiePie continues to demonstrate why he is beloved by millions of fans across the globe after he donated his 2020 and 2021 YouTube membership earnings, totalling over $1.5 million, to various charity initiatives. On August 29th, Pewdiepie revealed that he managed to donate a huge amount of money to charity over the last year or so thanks to revenue from channel membership.

He wrote in a community update; “In 2020 and 2021, through membership revenue – which I vouched to donate to charity – we were able to donate a total of $1,520,003 for various amazing charities.” In keeping with his promise, PewDiePie indicated that the funds were donated to several charity benefits, including Winston’s Wish, Save the Children (Lebanon), Blue Ocean Foundation, Papyrus, and many more. In the end of his message, he gives his ‘biggest thanks’ to everyone that helped him make it possible.

Because of this , many fans have been blown away by the generous donation, and quickly praised the YouTuber in the comments of his community post. PewDiePie has donated several million dollars to charity over the years that he has been active on YouTube. Many of these contributions have also gone unnoticed. And it’s the reasons like this that PewDiePie is, and will always be, the King of YouTube.
