PandaTV Defeats Ludwig And PiG’s Twitch Subathons
PandaTV, an Australian streamer on twitch has now beat twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren and PiG’s Twitch subathon time record as he went live for over 35 days now and the stream was still ongoing.
Earlier this year, twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren took over the platform as he hosted a subathon stream on his channel and he went live for 31 days straight breaking some twitch records in the process. He managed to break the twitch streamer Ninja’s long standing Subscriber record on the site. After Ludwig’s historic subathon stream, some streamers on the platform also wanted to do their own subathon stream seeing that it was a huge success.
In June 2021, Twitch streamer that goes by the name PIG hosted his own subathon stream managing to beat the time set by Ludwig Ahgren’s legendary subathon and he celebrated it by shaving his hair off. Now, another streamer has broken these records and twitch streamer PandaTv has now raised the bar even higher with an 840-hour subathon going live for more than 35 days straight and still counting.
PandaTV is a popular World of Warcraft streamer. On his subathon stream, he was playing games, sleeping, and hosting talk shows. He has kept the subathon going for five weeks now, and has hit a peak of 12k concurrent Twitch subscribers during the record run. PandaTv posted a tweet on July 6th announcing that he just hit the 840 hours mark.
He stated; “We just hit 840 hours live. For the rates that we’re doing, this is the longest subathon now on Twitch.” With time still remaining on the subathon countdown, he joked that every extra hour is just keeping him in ‘Twitch prison’ as he added; “I want this to end but I don’t know if it’s going to. Come and watch, but leave me alone… you know what I mean.”
Panda isn’t the only Twitch creator aiming for subathon glory either as also the popular Escape From Tarkov streamer Pestily, has currently been live with a long-running subathon of his own and Pestily has claimed he has a clear 50 day end-goal in mind.
