One Million Dollars Twice In One Week

The newly popular game Rust is a multiplayer-only survival video game developed by Facepunch Studios. The objective of Rust is to survive in the wilderness using gathered or stolen materials. Players must successfully manage their hunger, thirst, and health, or risk dying.

It was first released back in 2013 for early access while full release was in 2018. Even though it was released years back, it recently made its way into the spotlight as some popular streamers have been playing this game on a popular server. Huge streamers such as Shroud, xQc and more have been streaming rust on their channel.

Now, due to the increase of players, Facepunch Studios created seven new servers for the game. Rust has been putting up amazing numbers as 1.7 million games launched on January 7th as well as 4.9k servers online, and 799,321 Twitch Drops earned. Recently, Rust introduced Twitch Drops for streamers and big streamers like Jacksepticeye, Ludwig, Shroud, Pokimane, and Sykkuno have been working with Rust to come up with their unique drops. Garry Newman, the owner of the Facepunch Studios Ltd, tweeted out stating that they made over $1 million on Steam in just two days.
