Nora Signs Sponsorship Agreement Between Gaming Groups

Interactive Gaming Group has recruited former professional soccer player and prominent female streamer Nora (Twitch handle “NoraExplorer”) to its portfolio, demonstrating its commitment to supporting female streamers and inspiring gamers.

Nora, who resorted to gaming after a knee injury ruined her job, blogs about her adventures in Facepunch Studios’ adventure game Rust, which has a following of over 91,000 people. The 23-year-old sees streaming as a huge new area of potential for gamers seeking to monetise their skill and get more people enthusiastic about gaming, since her following has grown quickly in the previous year. “I’m really happy to be supported by IGG as I try to improve the experience I share with my audience,” Nora said of her new collaboration with IGG.

In the last year, I’ve witnessed my community develop and discovered that more and more individuals are connecting through the internet. Being a part of this with my audience and community makes me feel as if I have a responsibility to demonstrate that anybody can be whomever they want to be. IGG’s commitment to my aims was a key component in forming the partnership.”GG, whose mission is to encourage the world to play, has made it a priority to assist up-and-coming artists and help them monetize their talent, with over 1,000 creators and 250 companies globally. IGG is now using its platform to link rising gaming and eSports artists with sponsors, leveraging its experience in establishing some of the world’s most popular gaming-focused Twitch channels.

Cristina Niculae, CEO of Interactive Gaming Group, said of the cooperation, “Streaming is the future means of marketing.” The new generation of adults is motivated by producers who provide live, interactive experiences rather than by conventional television. On sites like Twitch, however, just 2% of gaming producers are female. We aim to help female producers develop their channels and sell their gaming content so that the gender gap may be closed. We are thrilled to welcome Nora, a brilliant creative, to our roster of streamers, and we look forward to assisting more female artists in our aim to make streaming marketing accessible to all aspiring creators.”
