Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg aka PewDiePie is one of the most popular YouTubers around the world. He has over 107 million subscribers on Youtube and had 1.7 million followers while he was still on the Twitch platform. He is a Swedish YouTuber, comedian, gamer, and philanthropist, known primarily for his Let’s Play videos and comedic formatted shows. PewDiePie was seen recently playing the popular game Among Us together with other notable streamers such as Pokimane, Corpse, DisguisedToast, and others.

During one of his recent live broadcasts while he was engaging with his fans, one fan asked him how he can send some money to the streamer which led the streamer to explain that he can not.

PewDiePie explained that he will not be accepting donations on his streams. He further explained and stated; “You can’t! Yeah I decided I don’t want to accept more donations. I appreciate just the chatting. It was actually when I did my ‘donating to Twitch streamers’ video that made me realize just how weird it is to donate money to people. Like if someone gave me that money on the street I would be like ‘What the fk no, I am not gonna take that’. But for some reason when I am streaming it’s like, ‘Yeah pay me, Hell yeah give me the money. $500? Yeah, just give me that st. I don’t get it”.

PewDiePie does not quite understand or like the ‘donation’ system, and said that he would never accept such donations in real life, explaining that he doesn’t judge other people who send or receive donations, it simply does not make sense to him.

Recently, Twitch streamer Pokimane worked with Streamlabs to make a $5 donation cap wherein the donor can only donate a maximum of $5 per stream.
