NICKMERCS’ Review on Halo Infinite

NICKMERCS has shared his initial impressions of the highly anticipated Halo Infinite – and he’s not thrilled.

Halo Infinite has been six years in the creation, and on November 15, the 20th anniversary of the original Xbox’s debut, the game’s multiplayer was officially launched six months ahead of schedule. Thousands of players flocked to download Infinite as soon as it was released, including top broadcasters like Nick, TimTheTatman, and Dr Disrespect. While the game’s early reviews have been overwhelmingly good, Nick, despite enjoying it himself, isn’t convinced.

During his November 16th Twitch stream, NICKMERCS discussed the latest Halo game and told his chat how he feels about Infinite thus far. He stated when asked about playing the latest Halo; “it’s pretty good, but the same old sh*t, you know? Doc hit me, he agrees. Same old sh*t means… What does it mean? It means I’m having fun, but I feel like it’s the same old thing.”

Nick didn’t find Halo Infinite to be flawless, with various concerns about how aim assist works in the game, and the fact that he’s already implying the game isn’t fully refreshing will make it difficult for fans who want to watch him grind Halo Infinite.

However, if Infinite proves to be the massive Halo revival that many are anticipating, we may be in for some more streamers to explode.
