m0xyy is Banned for Good

Twitch streamer m0xyy is a popular twitch streamer with over 500,000 followers on the platform. He originally began streaming on Twitch back in 2015. However, due to the recent wave of controversial DMCA strikes, he was reportedly banned from the Twitch platform permanently. DMCA strikes on Twitch streamers have hit thousands of streamers across the platform. Some streamers are already deleting their VOD’s and clips to avoid getting banned.

Some didn’t expect m0xyy’s ban to be permanent, with other Twitch streamers only getting temporary strikes relating to the DMCA claims. It looks like m0xyy will be streaming into a different platform in order to not lose his status. On November 12th, he posted on his Twitter admitting that he received a DMCA strike twice. He stated; “Holy shit, I’ve been DMCA’d twice in one week and I believe the next one will be a permanent ban. I’m going to be deleting all my clips and VOD’s. Hopefully all will be done in the next couple of days. Save them if you want while you still can before it’s too late”.

As of november 14th, he has not posted any tweets that are related to DMCA strikes or about the ban. It is also unknown if he is in contact with Twitch representatives in order to work through a possible process to undo the ban, or if he is beginning the process of moving to a new platform.
