Ludwig Becomes The Most Subbed Twitch Streamer

According to stats, the popular twitch streamer Ludwig Ahgren has become the most subscribed Twitch streamer for the insane “Subathon” stream for one week straight, and with the clock growing there appears to be no end in sight. On March 14th, Ludwig decided to run a ‘Subathon’ stream which would allow viewers to control the amount of time he would have to spend streaming by subscribing to him.

Ludwig added a slight twist to his subathon stream where every subscription or a $5 donation adds 10 seconds to the stream timer. Recently, he has attracted a lot of attention as he has over 30,000 viewers just when sleeping, with his waking streams peaking at 75,000 viewers. Now, according to stats from TwitchTracker, on March 21, 2021, Ludwig became the most-subscribed Twitch streamer on the platform as his sub count reached over 92,635. Minecraft streamer Ranboo fell to the second spot with a subscriber count of 71k, while xQc sits at third spot with a sub count of 59k.

However, Ludwig has a long, long way to go if he is to reach the all-time record held by Ninja, who achieved over 269,000 active subscribers back in April 2018. There is no telling when this stream will end since Ludwig has 1.9 million followers, in addition to a combination of his dedicated subscribers and gift subscriptions farmed by the chat that add time to the clock when convenient.
