Ludwig And Dr Disrespect Feud

Ludwig has put down a $1 million gauntlet at the feet of Dr Disrespect: after the legendary streamer continued to roast him, Ahgren wants to face the Doc in a 1v1 to prove “who’s the better gamer” once and for all.

After Ludwig issued the Doc a massive wager, two of YouTube’s heavyweight stars could be prepared to face head-to-head in a high-stakes, million-on-the-line combat. In a humorous streamer “feud,” Dr Disrespect seems to have had YouTube’s newest signing, Ludwig Ahgren, in his crosshairs recently, mocking the former Twitch star about his name, him being a “five-foot-two gaming nerd,” and more.

When the Doc appears, he makes a point of mispronouncing Ludwig’s name and making fun of his missing accolades. He recently slung another jab: “How do you say his name? Lud-widge? He thought he was going to win streamer of the year. His name? Luggage… luggage? I don’t know, Jesus.”

Ludwig has had enough and has retaliated with a bet. In his Twitter challenge, Ahgren tweeted, “Dr Disrespect. Let’s find out who’s the better gamer this week. 1v1. Luggage vs the Doc. Let’s say… $1 million on the line.”

Ludwig was alerted to a point he hadn’t considered almost immediately after sending his wager: this week, Warzone — one of the Doc’s favorite games — will be switching to a new battle royale map for the first time since its 2020 release. Its release sets the setup for a fantastic Caldera showdown.

Ludwig also addressed the massive kitty he’d put up in the Dr Disrespect challenge during his stream. According to the YouTuber, he wasn’t serious when he put up a million-dollar prize as a bet. Ludwig is exaggerating, just like “when Doc says there’s like 30 million in his arena,” he continued, “but really there’s just 30k watching.” He slyly added, “It’s a Dr Disrespect $1 million. Saying $1m to the Doc means like $1k instead, by his metrics. And he won’t even reply. Everybody relax!”

Dr. Disrespect has yet to respond to Ludwig’s massive wager as of publication, but it’s just a matter of time – the two-time won’t turn down a challenge.

The only remaining question is how the 1v1 match will go. Ludwig has been a part of the Smash scene for a long time, but the two-time is unlikely to enter a “No items, Fox only, Final Destination” match anytime soon. What’s more likely is Warzone, though Ahgren isn’t overly enthusiastic about the prospect.
