LIRIK Suggests New Twitch Channel

Saqib Ali Zahid better known online as Lirik is a popular twitch streamer with over 2.7 million followers on the platform. On his recent twitter post, he proposed a new way to help twitch as he is willing to help build out an entirely new channel. He wrote on twitter; “One channel on twitch.. when you go offline you host it. All big streamers push viewers to it, the whole purpose of the channel is to watch ads. All ad revenue goes to charity. Could maybe even show the $ in real time. Could bring all audiences together for one goal. Why not?”

What Lirik wants is to see the hosting feature used in a new way and help some charities. Rather than hosting each other for personal gains, the biggest streamers could all have one unified channel to host instead. Lirik’s idea has gained support from other big personalities and streamers including the G2 esports owner Carlos Rodríguez Santiago aka ocelote who replied; “This is why you get paid the big buckos,” and the Destiny 2 streamer ProfessorBroman who commented; “I love this idea.”

Lirik also claimed that some big streamers wouldn’t have to promote it or take over the channel in a hosting role as he explained that it is a neutral ground. He stated; “It is a neutral ground. No one gains clout or anything from the channel. Neutral zone.”
