Podcasts are quickly gaining popularity, and “Banter With Sapnap and Karl Jacobs” has recently risen to the top of the charts in the United States outperforming some fan favorites podcasts including “The Joe Rogan Experience,” “Crim Junkie,” and “Call Her Daddy.”

Karl Jacobs is a gaming YouTuber from the United States who has about 3 million subscribers on the video sharing platform. Mr. Beast, a fellow YouTuber, used to hire the Minecraft gamer as a video editor. He went on to become one of the most popular Minecraft streamers, with the second highest concurrent viewership on Twitch. From his sever “Tales from The SMP,” Karl Jacobs streams his Minecraft games.

Co-hosts Karl Jacobs and Sapnap interview YouTube sensation Mr. Beast in the debut edition of their podcast, in which he talks about his recent near-death experience. Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast talked about how his friend Andrew “fell asleep” on the interstate while driving 85 mph.

Mr. Beast claimed on the podcast that he took matters into his own hands by pulling his friend’s feet away from the gas pedal and steering the car away from the highway. However, MrBeast and his friend collided with a concrete wall while attempting to do so.

As he spoke about the dangerous event, MrBeast stated that his friend Andrew had a life-threatening ailment in which his heart would cease beating. He said; “They had to shock him back to life, they had to cut him open, put a pacemaker in… so now he’s fine.”

Karl Jacobs is joined by fellow Minecraft gamer Sapnap. His videos frequently include him and his friends collaborating on Minecraft challenges. Dream, a Twitch streamer, and the 20-year-old YouTuber frequently collaborate. On YouTube, Sapnap has over 4 million subscribers. The podcast’s press release describes “Banter” as: “A weekly podcast where Sapnap and Karl Jacobs bring on one of their friends from the content creation scene to talk and be cool.”
