Kalei is Banned For Sexual Content

Popular Twitch streamer and a FaZe clan member Kalei Renay has been banned from Twitch, prompting an outburst from the streamer, who was taken aback by the reason given, sexually suggestive conduct.

Kalei has been streaming on Twitch for years, but her popularity and fans skyrocketed in 2021 after she joined FaZe Clan as their first and only female content creator. In 2021, Kalei’s average viewership on her stream climbed by more than 200 percent, but with increasing attention comes increased scrutiny, with Kalei earning her first platform suspension on October 13th.

According to Kalei, the reason for the ban was “sexually suggestive conduct,” as described by Twitch. Twitch does not make the reason for suspensions public, although it does inform the broadcaster individually.

She retorted; “ALL I WEAR IS OVERSIZED HOODIES AND SHIRTS.”

Kalei reveals that she has a tattoo on her collarbone that is occasionally visible, but nothing more. Kalei’s violation, on the other hand, is claimed to have occurred in “public or private chat messages.” This means it has nothing to do with her on-stream attire. Sexually suggestive conduct on Twitch can include “explicit gestures,” “describing a sexual experience” or sharing related content.

These would be against the community guidelines, which cover all aspects of a broadcast, including language, dress, conduct, and content, whether it’s gaming, videos, or real-life streams.

Kalei hasn’t said how long the ban will last, but she expects it to be three days. She later clarified in a tweet that she will miss out on a sponsored stream and tournament as a result of it.
