Kai Cenat Talks About $40m Kick Deal

Even while he initially denied receiving it, Twitch star Kai Cenat appears to have made a subtle jab at Kick by mentioning the purported $40 million offer they made to him.

Kick has been making headlines in the livestreaming industry in recent months, attempting to challenge Twitch’s hegemony by extending more streamer-friendly offers to some of the biggest names in the industry. The Stake-backed streaming service has already attracted players like xQc, Adin Ross, and BruceDropEmOff, but appears to have failed in its effort to sign Kai Cenat.

It was widely believed that Kai would be the first well-known streamer to follow Adin to Kick, despite the fact that he was openly having contract disputes with Twitch. However, this was untrue. He was also said to have rejected a $40 million offer from them, but he refuted it and blamed Adin in the process. However, he has brought it up once more. Before moving on to “streaming s*it” and that ostensible Kick offer, Kai made the comment during the AMP 2023 Freshman Cypher.

“I do my own thing and I put that on a cross. They offered me 40 (million), I told them double it for more. Then Rumble came in and started knocking right on that door,” Kai quickly rapped before moving on.

Although he doesn’t specifically mention Kick or anyone associated with them, the remark to $40 million is an obvious dig at the rumored deal that never materialized. As everyone is aware, Kai ultimately signed a non-exclusive contract with Rumble for a program with IShowSpeed that would be called The Kai ‘N Speed Show. He continues to be one of the most popular streamers on the Amazon-owned platform Twitch, where he continues to stream at the same time. Who knows if he’ll get what he wants, though, as Kick still has other huge deals planned.
