Indiefoxx Returns To Twitch

Indiefoxx has made her long-awaited comeback to streaming on Twitch after spending two years away from the Amazon-owned service.

Back in 2021, thanks to the hot tub and ear-licking ASMR trend that had taken over the platform, Indiefoxx was flying high as one of Twitch’s fastest-growing streams. She gained over 2 million followers during that time of growth, yet Twitch frequently suspended her. Before Twitch shut down her channel and permanently banned Indiefoxx, she received at least six lengthy bans. The cause remained unclear for a time, as it is with most extended bans, until Indiefoxx made the decision to admit that it was due to an on-stream wardrobe malfunction. 

Fans held out hope that she would eventually return to Twitch even though she occasionally broadcast on YouTube during that time.  

At the beginning of April 2023, Twitch eventually lifted Indiefoxx’s lengthy suspension, granting them their dream and allowing her to rejoin the platform. Though it took her around two weeks to resume streaming, on April 16 she eventually went live on Twitch for the first time in two years. 

Although it was a little departure from her typical subject matter, the return was ultimately a triumph. 

“Guess who hit 17k on a NON hot tub stream. Wtf?! thanks, everyone for coming out and supporting,” the streamer said after finishing up. She’ll probably start a full-time schedule soon given how well received her comeback was, but it’s unclear if she can maintain the viewership levels. Given the nature of Indiefoxx’s prior suspensions, Twitch might continue to keep a close check on her content even after they’ve unbanned her.
