Hasan Stunned by Casually Explained’s Prediction

Casually Explained, a YouTuber, recently released a video in which he criticizes Twitch streamers, notably Hasan Piker famously known online as HasanAbi, for a variety of reasons. And Piker wasn’t expecting the YouTuber to forecast him so well when he found out he’d been mentioned.

Casually Explained, which has over three and a half million YouTube subscribers, creates short, swiftly sketched videos that explain frequently asked questions and receive millions of views.

The YouTuber addressed HasanAbi in his September 26th upload with the title, “Twitch streamers”, correctly predicting that the Twitch streamer would watch the video live and pause it to address something with his audience.

Piker went to YouTube shortly after CE released his video and noticed the title, and watched it live on stream. Casually Explained discusses how viewers form parasocial ties with their favorite streamers, many of whom are female, in the video.

Using the example of someone attempting to justify subscribing to a successful female streamer, the YouTuber said, “Yeah okay buddy, and I’m a tier 3 sub to Hasan for his political views,” before pausing for a few seconds.

“I’m sorry, what? You son of a b****,” Piker said after pausing the video before swiftly playing it again and was greeted by Casually Explained who said, “Thanks for unpausing the video, Hasan,” causing the streamer to laugh and shout while standing up from his chair, completely shocked.

However, this isn’t the first time HasanAbi and Casually Explained have interacted. In another video, Piker claims that he approached the YouTuber in 2016 to ask if he would be interested to collaborate on any political videos, but that he was flatly denied.

When Hasan noticed the YouTuber had been in his chat the entire time, he went to his profile to see if CE had said anything in his chat before realizing the YouTuber was a tier-3 subscriber to his channel.
