Hasan Piker Criticized For Purchasing 2.7 Million Dollar Home

Hasan Piker is recently facing criticism after purchasing a nearly $3 million home in Los Angeles County. Many people in the gaming community are criticizing him and accusing him of being hypocritical.

According to the real estate news website, Hasan purchased a 3,800 square foot home with 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms located in the neighborhood of Beverly Grove and cost $2.47 million.

Hasan Piker is a well-known Twitch streamer who is known by his online alias as HasanAbi. He has more than 1.5 million followers on the streaming platform and has been actively streaming since 2018. Hasan made a name for himself as one of the most popular streamers.

Hasan promoted socialist views and publicly supported Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Last August 13th, a news broke that Hasan Piker recently purchased a mansion in Los Angeles County and many users in social media started to criticize him saying that his recent purchase put him at odds with the socialist movement and started trending since Friday.

According to a socialist activist Alexis Isabel, it just “flat out unethical” for Hasan profiting off socialism and buying himself a 3 million home in a state where it is known as one of the highest homeless rates. Also Conservative commentators such as Lauren Southern and Tim Pool criticized the streamer for identifying with socialism and now owning a million dollar property.

Some defended Piker regarding his recent purchase like Anthony Fantano, Noel Miller and Ethan Klein.

Hasan Piker commented on the criticism he was in and asked everyone to calm down. He even joke around and posted a meme saying that socialism is when he has no home and added that once he has done being “stunlocked”, he will soon release a statement addressing the issue .

Piker’s representative also did not respond to the recent controversy.
