Hasan Piker, a Twitch star streamer, reacted to entrepreneur and speaker Gary Vaynerchuk’s viral best moments compilation by criticizing him for his ideas on wealth and hustling.

When it comes to economics and politics, it’s safe to say Hasan Piker and Gary Vee don’t share many common viewpoints.

On September 20, Hasan opted to watch a compilation of Gary Vee’s motivating talks delivered on various platforms during a Twitch stream. Hasan selected the greatest moments from the film to ruthlessly attack Gary on his views on anything from generational riches to what inspires people in the morning, resulting in some funny moments.

Hasan begins the video, titled “HUSTLE GRINDSET Will Make You RICH,” with Gary giving a lecture about why it’s better to be born into nothing than to be born into generational wealth, noting, “The way the internet is today? I’d rather have zero than a hundred million dollars.”

“You know what’s actually so much worse than being born into a wealthy family? Being born into a f**king poor family. What a dumb take, dude. I’m losing my god damn mind.” Hasan jokes, laughing at Gary’s remarks.

When Gary Vee recounted his morning routines, he said, “Every morning I wake up and pretend that my mother, children, or wife had died.” Hasan is taken aback by this and exclaims, “WHAT?! What’s wrong with him, dude. What the f**k.”

Hasan then goes on to mock Gary’s sentiments saying; “Every morning I wake up and fantasize about killing my relatives. What the f**k, dude! Sigma grindset! Do emotional terrorism to yourself. Literally f**k your own brain up so you can hustle and grindset.”

Hasan responded to a commenter on his stream who said that Gary Vee’s video is supposed to urge viewers to follow their ambitions or risk dying with regrets. Hasan stated; “I mean, no, chase your dreams, but just also be responsible. And also, enjoy yourself. And recognize that there are systemic hurdles you’ll have to overcome if you don’t have the generational luck that Gary Vee and myself had. Otherwise, we’re all just doing the ‘bootstraps’ argument.”

Hasan concludes the segment by stating that he and Gary Vee are quite similar. Gary Vee’s motivating talks appear to have missed the target with Hasan.
