Fuslie Addicted to GTA RP

Leslie “Fuslie” Fu, a popular Twitch streamer, has confessed that her addiction to Grand Theft Auto RP has gone too far, claiming that her life outside of the game is “falling apart.”

The GTA V multiplayer role-player mod has been a hit with fans, who now have the ability to act out their own story in any way they desire. The mod has been extremely popular among some of the streaming community’s most well-known figures, with some even becoming addicted to it.

One streamer, in particular, has revealed that her addiction may have gotten the best of her. Fuslie, a GTA V fan, has claimed that her life outside of the game is starting to crumble. During her Twitch livestream on February 6, Fuslie discussed her addiction to GTA RP. The streamer admitted that she is concerned about how much the game has taken over her life, saying, “I think I’m getting a bit too much into GTA.” The 29-year-old claimed that she was streaming while being surrounded by “dirty clothes”, “trash”, and “tissues.”

Fuslie isn’t the only one who has spoken out about her addiction to Grand Theft Auto V. Rachel “Valkyrae” Hofstetter spent a lot of time on the game during her sabbatical from broadcasting. Then, on February 8, she declared herself “addicted” to the mod, which she justified by saying, “It feels my improvement with roleplay and in-game character development has been appreciated and validated. Ty for watching & ty to my friends for making it so enjoyable.”

Fuslie’s addiction, on the other hand, hasn’t always been a good thing for her because it has affected her life outside of streaming. The Twitch star admitted: “I wake up and then I watch GTA clips […] I am so obsessed that I am like, this is not healthy. This can’t be healthy.”

Given that Fuslie revealed that her life outside of virtual Los Santos is “falling apart,” her much-needed break appears to have arrived at the perfect time. On February 8, the streamer tweeted: “No streams for a few days! I’m on a Big Bear trip with friends going snowboarding for the first time.”

During her stream, Fuslie expressed her excitement for her planned break, saying she was “really happy about taking a break.” She had pondered “bailing” on the vacation because she would be “going four days of GTA.” She stated, however, that she rapidly stomped such ideas out and was determined to follow through with the break. Fuslie may have been left “cringing” after discovering a birthday message from her past-self regarding her future, but she doesn’t seem to regret taking a well-deserved break from the hectic world of GTA.
