Fortnite Removes Double Movement

The Fortnite: Battle Royale patch v14.50 was released and new developments included a new Stark Jetpack and some unique cosmetics ahead of Fortnite’s launch into the next generation. Epic Games has also effectively removed double movement keybinds for keyboard and mouse players. Double movement for keyboard and mouse players allows them to bind two keys onto the keyboard at the same time. Therefore, this new development will make those Fortnite players who are using keyboard and mouse a bit more difficult than usual.

Fortnite streamers and professional players such as Benjamin Fish aka Benjyfishy, Turner Tenny aka Tfue, and many more have criticized Epic Games and they tweeted out their opinion regarding this issue. Being streamers, they naturally have to use PC, meaning also using keyboards and mouse to play the game so they let out their frustrations on Twitter. Benjyfish was the first to speak out stating that the change will set players back for those who had been practicing with the feature for a few months. He tweeted out; “There is no f***ing way that they removed double movement binds, there goes 3 months of practice”.

FaZe Dubs also tweeted out and stated that Epic Games doesn’t understand that the removal of double movements binds from the game may affect the player on a high level. As well as Fortnite pro Tfue who revealed that he has already quit the game Fortnite. He weighed in on the debate and mocked the players affected by the change. He tweeted out; “If you want double movement just pick up a controller smh”.
